Overview of Manovikas Charitable Society<\/h1>

Manovikas Charitable Society (MCS) is a dedicated organisation committed to improving the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Over the last 25 years, MCS has worked tirelessly to create a safe and inclusive space where people of all abilities can celebrate their unique identities and support one another.<\/p>

Our Mission:<\/h2>

Our mission is clear: to provide the best care for individuals, families, and communities, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to stay safe and thrive. At the heart of our efforts is the belief that all individuals, whether with or without disabilities, deserve equal opportunities and a nurturing environment to grow.<\/p>

A Rich History:<\/h2>

In 1997, MCS was born through the collective efforts of like-minded volunteers and generous donors who shared a common vision. Over the years, the Society has become known as the “Manovikas Family” by our donors, stakeholders, and the broader community. This term reflects our organisation’s strong unity, care, and belonging.<\/p>

Core Areas of Activity:<\/h2>

Manovikas Charitable Society focuses on four core areas to create opportunities for inclusion. We are committed to mainstreaming persons with disabilities at different stages of life and promoting inclusion in all aspects of society.
Education:<\/strong> We believe in the transformative power of education. Our programs focus on providing individuals with IDD the knowledge and skills they need to lead fulfilling lives.
Care:<\/strong> We provide comprehensive care, support, and guidance to individuals and their families, fostering a nurturing and safe environment.
Mental Health:<\/strong> Mental health is integral to well-being. We offer support and resources to help individuals with IDD and their families navigate mental health challenges.
Advocacy and Spirituality:<\/strong> We advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities and explore the spiritual dimension of their lives, recognising the importance of inner growth.<\/p>

Legal Compliance:<\/h2>

Manovikas Charitable Society is a registered organisation under the Society Registration Act 1860 of the NCT of Govt. of Delhi. We maintain strict compliance with all statutory regulations and government acts, including FRCA, 12A, and 80G, a testament to our commitment to transparency and accountability since 2000.<\/p>
