For over 25 years, the Manovikas Charitable Society (MCS) has been a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We have tirelessly provided education, care, advocacy, mental health support, and spiritual development to those most in need. With the support of Home of Hope Inc. USA, our journey has been one of compassion, dedication, and relentless pursuit of a better future for our community. Today, we find ourselves at a crucial crossroads and need your support to pursue a better future. Today, we need your support to continue our mission.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>

The Challenges We Face <\/span><\/h2>

MCS operates from a rented building, limiting our ability to expand and improve our services. The rental cost of approximately Rs.60 Lakhs ($71K) per year<\/strong><\/span> is a significant financial burden, diverting funds from our core programs. Despite these challenges, we support around 2000 individuals with IDD annually through innovative and impactful initiatives.<\/p>

Our facility needs proper ventilation and space, making it far from ideal. Yet, our resilient community continues to thrive. They deserve a better environment with fresh air, sunlight, and the necessary facilities to support their growth and well-being.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>

Our Vision for the Future <\/span><\/h2>

With your help, we envision a future where MCS can:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Expand Existing Programs:<\/strong><\/span> Reach a more significant number of individuals with disabilities nationwide.<\/p>

Establish a Dedicated College:<\/strong><\/span> Create a specialised college for individuals with IDD, offering higher education and advanced learning opportunities.<\/p>

Build a Secure Hostel:<\/strong> <\/span>Develop a hostel specifically for intellectually disabled boys and girls, providing a safe and supportive environment for their growth.<\/p>

Create a Comprehensive Facility:<\/strong> <\/span>Secure a new building with adequate space for residential accommodations, gardening activities, and holistic development programs.<\/p>

How You Can Help Contribute Financially: <\/span><\/h2>

We need to raise Rs. 35 Crores (USD 4.5 million)<\/strong><\/span> to cover the expenses of land acquisition, construction, furnishing, setup, and contingency funds for the new facility. This space will significantly improve our current setup, providing around 7100 sq. ft. of functional area compared to our current 2000 sq. ft.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Donate During Phased Goals:<\/strong><\/span> Consider donating during specific phases of our fundraising campaign:<\/p>

  1. Phase 1 (June 2024 to December 2024): Rs. 27 Crores ($3.5 million) to kickstart the project. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  2. Phase 2 (January 2025 to June 2025): Rs. 5 Crores ($0.7 million) for construction and furnishing. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  3. Phase 3 (July 2025 to December 2025): Rs. 3 Crores ($0.3 million) to complete the project. <\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    Corporate Sponsorship:<\/span><\/strong> Consider sponsoring our project if you represent a corporation or business. Corporate sponsorships provide financial support and demonstrate your commitment to corporate social responsibility and community development.<\/p>
