On September 28, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Dr. Alok Kumar “Bhuwan” was awarded the prestigious <\/span>National Gaurav Award 2024<\/b>. The award, presented by His Holiness Rashtriya Sant Pujya Shri Balyogi Umesh Nath Ji Maharaj, Member of Rajya Sabha & Pithadhishwar Valmiki Dham, Ujjain, recognises Dr. Bhuwan’s outstanding contributions to social service and special education.<\/span><\/p>

The 10th National Gaurav Award is dedicated to the theme of <\/span>Citizen Health and a Better Future for the Nation<\/b>. Indian Brave Hearts (IBH), in alignment with the global theme of <\/span>Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam<\/b> (the world is one family), proudly acknowledges individuals and organisations that have significantly contributed to a healthier and more vibrant India.<\/span><\/p>

Dr. Alok Kumar “Bhuwan” has been instrumental in transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through his work with the <\/span>Manovikas Charitable Society<\/b>, supported by <\/span>Home of Hope Inc., USA,<\/b> since 2000. His pioneering efforts in integrating technology into special education and developing <\/span>Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)<\/b> for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disabilities have set a new benchmark for inclusive education in India.<\/span><\/p>

Several distinguished guests graced the award ceremony, including Shri Indresh Kumar Ji, Honorable National Executive of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), Shri Ravindra Kishore Sinha, Honorable Member of Rajya Sabha (2014-2020), Judge Shri Anil Yadav, Principal District & Sessions Judge, and Shri Pramveer Singh Choudhary, Social Entrepreneur.<\/span><\/p>
