Manbhavan is under the SMILE project of HOH.When life was confined due to Covid 19 outbreak Manbhavan was a window of fresh air for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Manbhavan used to come twice a week through Zoom with various joyful activities. Participants with special abilities were gathered to learn and to feel togetherness during that social distance period.
Asha Durga is our SMILE volunteer and President of SMILE project. She became a part of the SMILE family in July 2020 when she started online class with IDD students.She lives in California.She had arrived India with her family to visit her hometown and she has also planned to visit Manovikas to meet her Smile students in person on 17th June 2022. Smile Students and the whole Manovikas family are eagerly waiting to welcome Asha Durga and to have a great time with her. On the other side Asha Durga has also expressed her excitement to meet her special students. So excitement is in the air now for a wonderful meeting.
