On the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2022, we’d like to invite you to attend the National Symposium on “Disability, Mental Health & Well Being’’, which we have scheduled as a hybrid event for Monday, October 10, 2022, from 1:30 pm to 5.30 pm, in Multipurpose Hall, India International Center, 40, Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi 110003

We welcome our Chief Guest, Mrs Stutit Kacker, IAS Retd, she is the former Secretary, Govt. of India, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE). The Former Chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and Chancellor of Subharti University

  1. Psychosocial Well-Being & Mental Health for PwD & their families
  2. Social and Psychological Factors- Inclusive Living for PIDD
  3. Mental Illness-Related Disability and Positive Mental Health

We expect the event will last about 3 hours. We appreciate your presence at the National Symposium.

The National Symposium on “Disability, Mental Health & Well-Being’’ is hosted by the State Nodal Agency Center, Delhi, under the National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability (Mental Retardation) and Multiple Disabilities, Govt. of India, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE) and Manovikas Charitable Society

The Event partners are the Delhi Psychiatric Society (DPS) and the Indian Association of Private Psychiatry (IAPP) Delhi Chapter.
