भौतिक और विकासात्मक दिव्यांगजनों को परिवार का बोझ समझना एक सहज विचार है,पर उनको आत्मनिर्भर बनाने का प्रयास एक चुनौती है.| इसी चुनौती को अपनाते हुए मनोलया में कुछ भौतिक और विकासात्मक दिव्यांगजन छात्रों को लेकर एक परिवार मॉडल बनाया गया है जहाँ इन छात्रों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने का प्रयास निरंतर किया जा रहा है समाज में समावेश लाने के लिए | |

Srihan chosen Manolaya |
|
Manolaya is a supported independent living center for the persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, run by a parents group with support of Manovikas. 15 years old Srihan is residing at Manolaya since last 10 months.His staying at Manolaya is an great achievement for his parent and for Manolaya as well.Due to some reason his parent took him home for sometime.During this period his parent realized that he was missing his friends.On the other side his friends in Manolaya was asking for Srihan. Srihan can’t express his choices properly but with the Make My Choice tool his mother came to know his choice. His parent didn’t take time to send him back to Manolaya.Comfort and facilities doesn’t matter in life ,which matters is togetherness.Srihan’s return at Manolaya has proved the fact. |
