National Seminar on Mental Health (NSMH-05)

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Organising Committee of NSMH-05 is honoured to invite you as the Speaker/Paper/Poster Presenter in the National Seminar on Mental Health (NSMH-05). The sessions will be held from 10 to 11 December 2022 in Satyagraha Mandap, Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, New Delhi.

NSMH-05 is two days event organised by the Manovikas Family with the Rehabilitation Council of India's (RCI) approval. Our goal is to focus on the bi-directional interface between Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and Mental Health issues and how they intertwine.

DR. A. T. THRESSIA KUTTY’S APPRECIATION AWARD worth Rs.10,000 shall be given to the best three overall Papers or Poster Presenters in the NSMH-05. In addition, a cash Prize and the Certificate of Appreciation shall be awarded to the winner.

We hope you will send your Abstract as soon as possible.

NSMH-05 Objectives

  1. Recognise the need for an interface between disability and mental health for social inclusion.
  2. Discuss the multidimensional construct of psychosocial well-being & mental health that influence persons with disabilities and their families 
  3. Awareness of improving well-being by increasing social inclusion for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PIDD) 
  4. Discuss key components of Mental Illness-related disability to accessing effective and positive mental health services. 
  5. Develop the reported synthesis from the NSMH-05 and plan for action.
