Organising Committee
The National Seminar on Mental Health (NSMH) started in the year 2018 under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Nimesh G. Desai, the Former Director of the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS).
NSMH-05 will help the larger society to examine and understand the relevance of the intersectionality between disability and mental health. But, if the connection between disability and mental health is not rediscovered, then how does it?
A diagnosis of psychosocial impairments, neurodiversity, intellectual, learning, cognitive (mental) behaviour and physical disabilities can result in the loss of social status, income, friends, family, and sense of identity. In addition, it can lead to feelings of hopelessness, meaninglessness, and helplessness.
Discussion of NSMH-05 will provide opportunities to communicate with stakeholders about a consequence of psychosocial issues and the service delivery system.
Join NSMH-05 and anticipate the recovery process from mental illness, leading a way of life, an attitude, and a way of approaching the long-term or short-term disabling condition.
They serve as faculty in Universities/Colleges/Institutions, PhD scholars, and Master and M.Phil. Students, Independent scholars have sufficient research experience. Special Education Trainees will be encouraged.
