The overall objective of the Manovikas Charitable Society is, to help create a bright future for those with an intellectual and developmental disability and who have very limited resources to help them achieve the quality of life independence, and inclusion. The three main areas that the organization focuses on are Care, Education, and Advocacy.

The objectives of the National Trust in particular are:

To enable and empower persons with disability to live as independently and as fully as possible within and as close to their community as possible;

To facilitate the realization of equal opportunities, protection of rights, and full participation of persons with a disability;

To extend support to its registered organizations to provide need-based services; and

To evolve procedures for appointments of guardians and trustees for persons with disabilities.

                                                 

To remain dedicated to our mandate to help persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities with the:
Respect means: due regard for the feelings, wishes, listening, accepting the being non-judgmental on the point of views by the PIDD.

Rights:  fulfilling a moral or legal entitlement to have an inclusive and independent life of PIDD.
Dignity: Celebrating a sense of pride in our PIDD and self-respect for their choices.
Equity:  Providing quality care and services to lead a fair, impartial, and inclusive life in the community.
Accountability: Accepting the real fact and condition for being accountable for each and every activities and development


                                               

Manovikas Family strongly believes and works for Persons with Intellectual and Development (IDD) who need to be treated equally irrespective of their status, gender, religion etc.

Donation/Fund Acceptance Policy
  1. Manovikas Charitable Society (MCS) solicits and accepts gifts that are consistent with its mission, aims, and objectives and that support its core programs of Education, Care, Advocacy, as well as special projects like relief during disaster and pandemic.

  2. Donations and other forms of support will generally be accepted by individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, subject to the following limitations:

  1. Donation from Indian agencies are accepted in our local Punjab National Bank (PNB) Account, or through the Online links of Razorpay, Google Pay, NEFT, wire transfers of cash, or publicly traded securities

  2. Donations from any foreign nations are only accepted in the FCRA account of the State Bank of India (SBI), Main Branch, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. As specified under the Foreign Contribution to India is Regulated under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

  3. Manovikas Charitable Society accepts Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding and MCS is a registered entity for undertaking CSR activities and the Registration number is CSR00002610 by the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Office of The Registrar of Companies

  1. Gifts of Real Property, Personal Property, or Securities may only be accepted upon approval of the Governing Board Members.
