Teacher Skill Enhancement Workshop

A special Teacher Training Programme was recently held to help teachers improve their skills in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The session was led by an experienced trainer who shared helpful strategies and teaching methods.
During the session, teachers were invited to talk about the real problems they face in their classrooms. This open conversation helped them explain the behaviors and challenges they see in autistic students. The trainer listened carefully and gave clear, practical solutions.
She showed different activity-based tools, such as visual schedules, sensory materials, first-then boards, structured routines, and communication cards. Teachers also learned how to make classrooms calmer for students and how to use praise to encourage good behavior.
The training included fun activities like role-playing, group talks, and hands-on practice. These methods made learning easy and useful. The session helped teachers feel more confident and ready to support all students, especially those with autism. Many teachers said the session was very useful and asked for more training programs like this.
