Dear Delegates,

Welcome to International Workshop on Equal Opportunity Policy for the Persons with Disabilities.  Manovikas Family is looking forward to having your joyful learning on the online platform Manovikas eGyanshala. I am writing prior to the official workshop starting from March 4 to 6, 2022 to cover a few items.

Workshop Availability:  The online workshop will be open on the Manovikas eGyanshala portal: https://manovikasfamily.org/gyanshala/courses/eop/. Please log in on the portal with the user ID and password and familiarize yourself with the Manovikas eGyanshala portal, begin the Workshop Orientation, read the Curriculum, and complete your Registration Form.  

Online Sessions on ZOOM: The first official day of the workshop is March 4, 2022, from 11:00 am on Zoom. For the Zoom link please log in to the Manovikas eGyanshala portal and go to the lesson 1.4 Zoom Meeting link: https://manovikasfamily.org/gyanshala/courses/eop/lessons/zoom-meeting-link/ register and join online the workshop. Our team and resource persons will be available from March 4 to 6 2022 for the virtual interaction and lectures. Curriculum and Schedule:  We have published the workshop schedule also see the link https://manovikasfamily.org/gyanshala/courses/eop/lessons/tentative-schedule/. Read the Curriculum carefully, as it contains materials you will need to read prior to the start of the workshop as well as it will help you with evaluation expectations.  

Time Commitment: An online workshop requires discipline, self-motivation, collaboration, and organization.  It also requires the same credit hours of work as face-to-face attendance in the workshop.  The workshop delegates are required and expected to join all online sessions from 11 am to 6 pm from March 4 to 6, 2022. Please plan your time accordingly.

Workshop modules: Delegates need to attempt the curriculum related to a workshop where they need to do some assignments and complete the quiz.  

Evaluation and Certification: the attempt to the final assessment is essential and required to pass with 80% grade/marks. After completion and passing of the final assessment, you will receive the Certificate on your email or download from the portal. 

Printed Certificate: Our team will dispatch the printed certificate after verification of your data and grades in quizzes. It will take minimum 30 days to dispatch the printed certificate to your given address in Registration Form (lesson 1.3).

समय की प्रतिबद्धता: एक ऑनलाइन कार्यशाला के लिए अनुशासन, आत्म-प्रेरणा, सहयोग और संगठन की आवश्यकता होती है। इसके लिए वर्कशॉप में ऑनलाइन शामिल होने के लिय कुछ  क्रेडिट घंटे की भी आवश्यकता होती है। कार्यशाला के प्रतिनिधियों को 4 से 6 मार्च 2022 के दौरान सुबह 11 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक सभी ऑनलाइन सत्रों में शामिल होने की आवश्यकता है और हम आपसे यही उम्मीद करते हैं। कृपया तदनुसार अपने समय की योजना बनाएं।

कार्यशाला मॉड्यूल: प्रतिनिधियों को कार्यशाला से संबंधित पाठ्यक्रम का प्रयास करने की आवश्यकता होती है जहां उन्हें कुछ असाइनमेंट करने और प्रश्नोत्तरी को पूरा करने की आवश्यकता होगी।

मूल्यांकन और प्रमाणन: अंतिम मूल्यांकन का प्रयास आवश्यक है और 80% ग्रेड/अंकों के साथ उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है। अंतिम मूल्यांकन के पूरा होने और उत्तीर्ण होने के बाद आपको अपने ईमेल पर प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त होगा या पोर्टल से डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है।

मुद्रित प्रमाणपत्र: हमारी टीम क्विज़ में आपके डेटा और ग्रेड के सत्यापन के बाद मुद्रित प्रमाणपत्र भेज देगी। पंजीकरण फॉर्म (पाठ 1.3) में आपके दिए गए पते पर मुद्रित प्रमाण पत्र भेजने में कम से कम 30 दिन लगेंगे।

In pursuance of the provisions under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 (RPD Act 2016) and UNCRPD, every establishment needs to DESIGN, NOTIFY AND REGISTER equal opportunity policy (EOP).

International Workshop on Equal Opportunity Policy for the Persons with Disabilities, approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, is being organised virtually during March 4 to 6, 2022 (FRI to SUN).

You are invited to join the workshop and you will receive all solutions on EOP along with the sample documents like ⊕EOP format, ⊕Statements for Reasonable Accommodations, ⊕EOP Register, ⊕Grievance Management System, ⊕Disability information, ⊕Workshop materials and  many more.    

The aims and objectives of this Workshop on Equal Opportunity Policy (EOP):

1. Analyse the equal opportunity policy for persons with disabilities (PwD) under the UNCRPD and Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
2. Recommend reasonable accommodations and justify a framework of equal opportunity policy for persons with disabilities.
3. Design the equal opportunity policy for the Government establishment and private establishment, companies, institutions, schools colleges, universities, hospitals, local authorities, NGOs and all public facilities and services. 

This International Workshop on EOP for PwDS is open for the Representatives from Government, Companies, Institutions, NGOs, CRE Participants and Students and others are welcome.
