For Enabling and Nurturing the SMILE Movement Presented by Manovikas Charitable Society & Home of Hope Inc.
A Family’s Vision, A Nation’s Transformation
The SMILE (Special Minds in Loving Environment) program began in 2019 as a heartfelt initiative by 10-year-old Amora Singh. Today, it has become a nationwide movement of inclusion, empowerment, and joy for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
This journey of transformation has been made possible by the visionary leadership and generosity of her parents, Mr. Manav Grover and Mrs. Manpreet Grover. Their belief, funding, mentorship, and active participation through Home of Hope Inc. have ensured that thousands of smiles have reached the homes and hearts of children across India.
Mr. Manav Grover is a visionary leader and philanthropist with a strong presence in technology, finance, and education. He serves as an Investor at Costnomics Technology, Inc., a Board Member at Alchemy Search Partners, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Santa Clara University.
A Member of the Bay Area Council and Founding Partner of SOA Projects Team, he brings strategic insight and innovation to every role. As a committed supporter of Home of Hope Inc., his philanthropic leadership has empowered the SMILE Project to reach and transform the lives of children with disabilities across India.
Mrs. Manpreet Grover is the heart behind the SMILE initiative, offering unwavering support, compassion, and guidance. She has mentored her daughter Amora, fostered strong bonds with Manovikas students and staff, and ensured SMILE reflects inclusion, care, and cultural harmony. Her quiet leadership and commitment to holistic education have deeply enriched the program and inspired all involved.
As the funder and backbone of the SMILE program, Mrs and Mr. Grover have provided the essential resources to scale and sustain the program across 14+ Indian states and internationally. His foresight and philanthropy have shaped SMILE into a global model of inclusive education.

In the world of social development, visionary funders are the force behind sustained impact. Mr. and Mrs. Grover exemplify this with their commitment to:
Long-term investment in inclusive education
Supporting leadership from within the community (i.e., youth volunteers)
Bridging continents through funding, mentorship, and care
Ensuring equity for underserved children and youth with disabilities
Without this unwavering support, the SMILE program would not have reached the scale, depth, or continuity it enjoys today.
