Mrs. Vinita Bhandari’s unique and foundational support has been the driving force behind the Aarambh Child Care Centre (A3C) at Manovikas Charitable Society. Her philanthropic contribution through Home of Hope Inc. has not only enabled early childhood care and inclusive education for children aged 3 to 10 years with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, and multiple disabilities, but also set a new standard for philanthropy in this field.
Her support has not only enabled the creation of an inclusive, nurturing, and impactful learning environment but has also significantly improved the lives of children who would otherwise be underserved.

Beneficiaries Reached
- Since A3C’s inception, 297 children with disabilities have benefited.
- 37 children enrolled in 2024, including:
- 8 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- 10 children with Intellectual Disability (ID)
- 4 children with multiple disabilitiesA3C



Educational & Therapeutic Outcomes
- 1630 Speech Therapy and 155 Occupational Therapy sessions were conducted in 2024 alone.
- Two hundred fifty-six online and in-person academic classes were held, resulting in a total of 1,024 student attendees.
- 1683 individualised worksheets distributed for academic development.
- 46 UDL-based educational videos and 20 educational kits were distributed to support at-home learning. Annual-Report-2022.
Mainstreaming and Inclusion
- Five children enrolled in government mainstream schools in 2024, having previously experienced successful transitions in earlier years.
- Strong collaboration with 4–6 inclusive schools in Delhi to ensure long-term placement and follow-up support.
Family Empowerment & Home Support
- 23 family counselling sessions and 48 home-based training visits conducted to train and empower parents and caregivers, Child Care
Families received nutrition, hygiene items, learning kits, and mobile training during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring continuity of care at Aarambh Child Care Centre.





Infrastructure and Staffing
With Ms. Bhandari’s generous contribution:
- A3C retained qualified therapists, educators, caregivers, and inclusion facilitators.
- The project expanded its operations in East Delhi, covering 30–40 square kilometres and serving communities with a high prevalence of disabilities.
Holistic Development and Special Recognition
- Children participated in events such as Janmashtami, Children’s Day, World Disability Day, Diwali Mela, and Autism Awareness Day, which brought visibility and confidence.
Success Stories: Kajal, Afsha, Piyush, and Anant are shining examples of the transformative power of Ms. Bhandari’s support. These children, who were once non-verbal or severely delayed, are now transitioning into inclusive learning environments, a testament to the hope and potential that her support has unlocked (Annual Report 2022).
