From Learning Basics to Making a Budget Plan

At Manovikas ACE Lab, we believe every child has potential — with the right support, patience, and guidance.
Today, we proudly share the journey of Aniket, a student with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD), who has achieved a meaningful milestone — creating a dynamic monthly budget plan in Microsoft Excel.
In the beginning, even basic computer handling required support. Step by step, Aniket learned how to open Excel, identify rows and columns, enter data, and save his work independently. Every small achievement was celebrated.
Recently, he created a simple budget sheet with columns for Income, Expenses, and Savings. He entered data, calculated totals using basic formulas, and began understanding the difference between spending and saving.
This achievement is not just about technical skills — it reflects growing independence and confidence. Through this activity, Aniket is developing financial awareness, logical thinking, and planning skills.
His journey reminds us that success is not about speed, but steady progress.
Every spreadsheet tells a story — and Aniket’s story is one of growth and determination.
