Job Summary

We seek a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence and effectively engage our audience. The Social Media Manager will amplify Manovikas’ mission and initiatives, drive awareness, and build an inclusive digital community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
    • Align social media efforts with organisational goals and campaigns.
  2. Content Creation and Management:
    • Create engaging content tailored for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, including posts, videos, and graphics.
    • Manage and update the content calendar, ensuring timely and impactful posts.
  3. Engagement and Community Building:
    • Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and queries.
    • Build relationships with influencers and partners to amplify the reach of campaigns.
  4. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and provide regular insights.
    • Track key metrics like engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign ROI.
  5. Campaign Execution:
    • Planned and ran paid social media campaigns to support fundraising and program initiatives.
    • Manage budgets and optimise campaigns for maximum impact.
  6. Collaboration and Innovation:
    • Work closely with program teams to highlight success stories and initiatives.
    • Stay updated on trends and incorporate innovative strategies into social media plans.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a social media manager or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Adobe, Canva) and analytics platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Knowledge of disability rights and inclusion is an added advantage.
