“Nari Shakti: The Divine Flame of Strength and Grace”

In October, the trainees of the Diploma in Special Education program participated in Diwali Utsav 2024, presenting a moving play on Goddess Durga and her nine forms of strength. Through this performance, they showed how the goddess’s power conquers evil and protects people. The play also highlighted the current position of women in society, drawing attention to issues such as rape, harassment, bullying, and violence that affect women of all ages. By addressing these serious topics, the trainees raised awareness of real challenges women face today. The play traced the role of women from ancient times to the present, showing how society’s view of women has evolved. Each trainee delivered an excellent performance, and a special tribute goes to choreographer Ms. Indira Alok, who created such a beautiful and impactful piece for the trainees.
