
Resource Room Activity
From April 24th to May 5th, the trainees of the Diploma in Special Education led an active and creative program in the Resource Room at Manovikas Charitable Society.The Resource Room provides helpful support to special students in many areas such as academics, social skills, emotional growth, and co-curricular activities.During this time, the trainees used different teaching and learning materials to create an innovative presentation program. They conducted hands-on and interactive sessions to help students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual disabilities learn important developmental skills in a fun and engaging way.
The success of this initiative was evident in multiple areas:
- Student Engagement: Through creative and enjoyable activities, special students actively participated and grasped new concepts, making learning a joyful ,fun and interactivity activities.They learned as per their choice in the resources room.
- Trainee Development: The Diploma students gained invaluable practical experience, refining their teaching techniques and building significant confidence in their abilities to support diverse learners.
- Positive Reinforcement: Class teachers consistently praised the Diploma students for their excellent teaching skills and commitment.
This Resource Room Presentation Activity underscored Manovikas Charitable Society’s dedication to promoting inclusive education and empowering both students and future educators through practical, impactful learning opportunities.
