Rishi Dutta an International Artist

This is a story of a young, gifted artist Rishi Datta. He was born with an extra chromosome (Trisomy 21– Down’s Syndrome). His father, Ranjan Datta, is an IT professional working in an MNC and his mother, Asmita Datta, is a homemaker. Initially, he was going to a regular school in Kolkata, but his school life was not so good as he was being bullied constantly by his classmates. He was a very happy, joyful and social child. “Rishi says, I am fond of music, dance and drawing…”
At the age of only 5 years, he started to show his interest in sketching and colouring. When all the kids used to play on the ground, he played with colours at home. Even he started painting on the walls of the room and we allowed him to do so to express his thoughts and passion. Seeing his interest, his mother appointed an art teacher at home when he was only 5 years old.
His artworks are quite simple, but he loves to apply all vibrant colours which bring a lot of happiness, hope and peace in the paintings. He loves to work with nature like flowers, landscape, Cityscape, folk arts of different countries. Sometimes he paints abstract – but he loves the realistic painting the most

In 2018, his first art exhibition was held in Delhi in a public auditorium, where his 10 paintings out of 10were sold out on the very first day.
In 2019, Rishi’s 2 paintings were exhibited in Arpana Art Gallery, Delhi. Both the paintings were sold out on the very first day.
His painting was selected for an International Art Competition, organized by UNESCO.
Last 4 years he started his carrier as a painter & he paints 5-6 hours every day. It
has become his passion and never tires. To date, he has participated in numerous
exhibitions and 71 of his artwork has been sold off since January 2018, both nationally and internationally.
Rishi’s last exhibition was held in Arpana art Gallery, Delhi, and it was a successful exhibition.
Many children with disabilities also come to Rishi and learn the basics of painting and sketching. Rishi performs in front of kids and they love to follow him.
Rishi’s Mother Mrs Ashmita Datta is a teacher, providing online and offline science tuitions to class 10th students with able-bodied and disabilities. She gives counselling for aspiring parents

In the year, 2021, Rishi’s biography has been
published in a US-based international magazine called “The creative Entrepreneur News Magazine”.
