One of the highlights of this programme is that students also learn a little bit of Programming using ‘C’ language. |

Certificate Programme in Home Based Health Care is a 6 months programme of 14 credits (Theory 4 credits, Practical 10 credits) for 10th Pass students. This programme has been developed to prepare a work force in the country with the skills required to look after elderly and people suffering from chronic progressive illnesses. This programme will help the family members and patients to cope with the stress of care to their long term ailing relatives which will add to the quality of life of patients as well as of relatives. |

This programme has been developed jointly by IGNOU, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF) and Commonwealth of Learning (COL) Canada, with an aim to enable NGOs and other agencies to develop business skills among the street children, unemployed youth, rural and urban disadvantaged sections and women, so that these groups can avail gainful self employment opportunities. In order to be eligible for the award of the Certificate in Business Skills, one has to complete the 4 courses equivalent to 18 credits |
