Simmi Santha

Simmi Santha, the founder and director of Precious Souls Services Inc., Canada, is a developmental psychology doctoral candidate specializing in Child and Adolescent Studies at Walden University, USA. She is a Registered Behavior Analyst (RBA, Ont.) with the College of Psychologists and Behavior Analysts in Ontario, Canada, and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (USA). With a wealth of over 25 years of experience in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Simmi has established herself as a leading expert, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism through evidence-based practices.

Her educational background includes a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and a Child Daycare Management program, in addition to various training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Simmi has also completed the PLAY Project, a parent-mediated intervention program, and consistently updates her knowledge in cutting-edge strategies like Practical Functional Assessment—Skill-Based Treatment (PFA-SBT).

Simmi is a member of the Ontario Association of Behavior Analysts (ONTABA) and the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). She is a dedicated strategic interventionist, deeply committed to delivering significant progressive changes for children with autism and their families. Her work has spanned across India, the USA, and Canada, where she has served as a therapist, consultant, project manager, and mentor, consistently bringing positive outcomes in each role.

In addition to founding the Reeta Peshawaria Center for Autism and ABA Services in Kerala, India, Simmi has customised program plans for families from diverse ethnic, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds. She has also conducted numerous parent and teacher training programs, empowering them with skills to work effectively with individuals with ASD. Simmi has contributed to autism awareness by writing articles for magazines and authoring the manual Understanding Autism, providing practical guidance for parents of children diagnosed with ASD.
