PARENT’S PERSPECTIVE
I am Laxmi, mother of Kanika, faced challenge to interact with my daughter and it was difficult for me to cope up with the society with my daughter and then during a survey I met one person and he sent me to Manovikas and the very next day I went to the school where assessment of my daughter was done and she got admission in Aarambh Child Care Centre. After three months I saw a drastic change in my daughter’s behavior as she has started involving in activities like games, dance, and meditation. She has also started following the instruction.
TEACHER’S PERSPECTIVE
We have student Kanika with Autism. She is seven years young girl with intellectual disability. She is a lovely girl and we work closely with the family to help them to deal with the challenges. She got admission in Aarambh Child Care Centre and we have provided her sensory training as Sensory activities helps her to develop her senses and skills. She is one of the girl who eagerly wants to come to the school. Now Kanika plays and participate in co-curricular activities like dance, games and meditation which brings smile on her face.
